Included is a discussion of the eight statutory requirements of a GRAT, the use of long-term versus short- term GRATs, including short-term rolling GRATS and “zeroed-out” GRATs, GRATs with increasing annuities and what assets are most effective with GRATs and GRAT asset allocation.
